Celebrating Women

As part of International Women's Day 2022 the Diversity Committee led an initiative for members of staff to recreate images of iconic women whilst the Art Department dedicated Vol 2 of their Art Zine to the theme of Women. Pupils and staff were asked to submit images of women in all forms, from painting to poetry! See the fantastic outcomes below:

Art Zine Vol 2: Women

Exciting news from alumni Reece Topley (Drake, 2011) who has once again been selected to represent England in two upcoming T20 international tournaments.

September sees Reece tour with the England side in Pakistan for the IT20 later this month; the first time England has done so in 17 years.

He will then go on to play in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup hosted by Australia during October and November. This is the third time the 28-year-old  has been selected to play for England in a T20 World Cup.

July was also a fantastic month for Reece who in the second match against India, took his first five-wicket haul and the best bowling figures for England in an ODI match with 6 for 24.
