Celebrating Women

As part of International Women's Day 2022 the Diversity Committee led an initiative for members of staff to recreate images of iconic women whilst the Art Department dedicated Vol 2 of their Art Zine to the theme of Women. Pupils and staff were asked to submit images of women in all forms, from painting to poetry! See the fantastic outcomes below:

Art Zine Vol 2: Women

On Wednesday 21 September, 15 pupils from the Sixth Form took the opportunity to join Tom Wood (Drake, 2007) for lunch in the Conference Room. This is the first of a programme of Business Lunches run by RHS Futures; the idea behind them is to inspire pupils and help them when they are considering their career options.

Tom spoke about his career journey to date which saw him go from graduating from the University of Exeter with a Law degree, to teaching Business and then finally moving onto the career he is in today, a Financial Advisor at Castell Wealth Management. He also spoke to the pupils about grasping all opportunities given to them, Tom’s key message was about controlling the controllables.

If you would like to get involved and volunteer your time to help our pupils, we would love to hear from you. Email Katie Gould via kgould@royalhospitalschool.org
