Imperial War Museum

Our Year 9 pupils embarked on a journey of remembrance and reflection at the Imperial War Museum in London in March. Deeply moved by the exhibits, they focused on the Holocaust, listening to personal stories and experiences.

Equipped with iPads as their electronic tour guides, they navigated through the galleries. In a thought-provoking exercise, they engaged with specific objects and images, prompting discussions among themselves into the profound significance of each artifact which conveyed the realities of the Holocaust. From poignant glimpses of pre-war Jewish life to the ascent of Nazi ideology and the repression of Jewish freedoms, the galleries provided a comprehensive narrative.
