RHS Riders qualify for Hickstead
The RHS Equestrian Team performed outstandingly in the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Eventer's Challenge Qualifier over the weekend.
The Eventer's Challenge is an arena competition with show jumping followed by simulated cross country against the clock including a water feature. The top two teams and individuals qualify for the NSEA Eventer's Challenge Final at Hickstead on 26 and 27 May 2018. The chance to compete at Hickstead attracted a large field of entries.
In the 80cm class Genevieve P, Emma S, Lulu G and Aoife R came in second. The 90cm saw the team of Eliza T, Fliss G, Emma W and Aoife R placed third with Eliza also coming third individually. The 1m team won their class with just a three rider team due to a pony injury. Eliza T was ranked 1st individually with an amazing round, qualifying overall as the top individual. The other two girls also earned high positions with Holly H in 4th and Aoife R placing 6th.
