Running in the London Marathon for the Multiple Sclerosis Society
Samantha Latimer (Hood 1999) promised her school friend Rosie Libby (Hood 2001) that one day she would run the London Marathon to raise money for MS, which Rosie's mother suffered from. After many years of living with the disease, Rosie's mum passed away. Samantha is keeping her promise by running in the April 2019 London Marathon for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. MS is a disease which can affect the brain, spinal cord and eyes. It is a progressive disorder that causes lots of symptoms including problems with vision, balance, muscle control and other basic body functions. Do support Samantha and this great cause.
