Three pupils attended the British Judo Association's Eastern Area Open in Thetford over the weekend earning themselves medals and recognition for their performances. Judo continues to grow at the Royal Hospital School with growing numbers of pupils participating in the sport through our co-curricular programme.
Mason H and Henry G both were awarded bronze medals, a notable achievement particularly for Henry as this was his first competition. Sebastian DH won 20 points over the course of his bouts that go towards earning his black belt, putting him a third of the way to towards his target. He also made a throw in one bout which was declared 'Best Throw of the Day' and brought rounds of applause from those watching.
