Holly Folkard-Smith and Adam Warren, Heads of School at the Royal Hospital School, celebrate some excellent A Level results with a bundle of top grades between them.
Headmaster, Simon Lockyer said, "Being the Head of School demands a great deal of commitment and a high degree of responsibility, but this did not stop Adam and Holly achieving some first-class A Level results as well. They have been superb ambassadors for RHS".
Holly achieved A*A*A and has secured her place to read Geography at Nottingham University and Adam will study Law at Newcastle as a result of his A*AB grades. They took up their roles of responsibility at the start of Year 13 which have included representing the School in front of royalty and at high profile ceremonial events, regularly speaking to the whole school and providing guidance, support and roles models to younger pupils, engaging with the wider community and hosting events.
Adam said: 'Being Head of School provided me with some invaluable life-skills and brilliant opportunities to represent such unique school. I am delighted to have got my place at Newcastle to read Law and hope to continue onward from the foundations RHS has given me."
Holly added: "Since Year 7, I have been stretched and challenged and given a breadth of opportunities which have allowed me to reach my goal of attending Nottingham University. I feel extremely proud to not only have attended RHS but as to have led it as Head of School with Adam".
