Archie proves he can balance his academic studies and sport

Sports Scholar, Archie, has managed to balance his myriad of sporting commitments with hard work which has earned him five 9s, two 8s, a 7 and a 6 at GCSE, together with an Academic Scholarship for the Sixth Form.

Archie joined the School in Year 7 from Elm Green Preparatory School in Little Baddow, Essex, and over the past 5 year at RHS, most of his time outside of the classroom has been taken up with sport. He plays hockey, has represented the 1st XV rugby team in Year 11 and is part of the Northampton Saints Academy.

In the Sixth Form, Archie will be studying Economics, Maths and Geography and he hopes to do an Economics degree and follow a career in finance.

When asked about his experiences over the last few months, he said "Even though I had no exams to work towards, I took part in the Pre-A-Level online lessons which I found very useful. They gave me a good insight into my subjects and reaffirmed that these were the right subjects for me. I want to thank my teachers for all their support and for being there for me when things got difficult."
