Arcade Night
Following on from the glitz and glam of the Sixth Form Ball back in October, this term saw our Year 12s turn their hands to all things Arcade with a night of fun, competition and most importantly...dancing!
The pupils arrived in the Jellicoe Room to find a host of arcade games including Strike a Light and head-to-head racing simulators along with arcade-related props in our bespoke photobooth.
Alongside this, serious competition took place with five rounds of musical bingo where pupils were played 10 seconds of a song to identify the artist and title on their bingo card.
A flurry of dabbers and false 'Bingo' calls, eventually saw Mika, Nikaiyah, Lola and Tami crowned 'House' winners.
The dancing competition was not without fraught contest and the two dance-offs for number one position provided much amusement and fun, with Harry's 'Worm Dance' being a particular highlight.
Topping off the night, our sixth formers took to the dancefloor with their usual enthusiasm, high spirits and occasional, questionable dance moves!
“It was really fun, I had such a good night. Loved the dancing.”
“The bingo was actually really good fun, I got really competitive.”
“The arcade games were a nice touch and a fun element.”
“Thank you for a really fun and different social, it was really good.”
