Congratulations to our Year 12 psychologists for their outstanding achievements in national essay competitions last term!
We are delighted to announce that Bella P secured first prize in a national essay writing competition. The competition's theme was "How should psychologists leverage the recent advances in modern technology in their research and/or practice?". Bella's essay not only impressed the judges but also triumphed over tough competition from exceptional schools. She will be receiving a £50 prize, along with a collection of psychology resources and goodies for both herself and the class.
Additionally, Harriet G emerged as the winner of the Tutor2U competition. Her essay, responding to "Discuss the consequences of culturally biased research and make suggestions on how to reduce culture bias in psychology," stood out for its depth of knowledge, insightful analysis, and exceptional writing skills. Harriet will be receiving subject resources as her prize and will have the honour of seeing her essay published in the upcoming edition of Tutor2U's magazine this term. The judges provided Harriet with the following feedback "...your essay was great and really addressed the brief, and demonstrated great knowledge, insight, and writing skills".
Well done Harriet and Bella!
