Wellbeing Pupil Bulletin

Wellbeing Pupil Bulletin

A new pupil wellbeing newsletter has launched! RHS Wellbeing, Edition 1, has been distributed to pupils online and in print to all the boarding and day houses. The newsletter discusses progress with the school’s application for the Optimus Wellbeing Award and highlights the school’s work with pupils to promote a positive wellbeing culture.

The newsletter includes Eve Hughes, Year 12, interviewing Mrs Steer about her role as the school’s Independent Person. Luca Baretton, Year 13, discusses the difficulties of learning in a different country and challenges new international pupils to get to know new people. Mrs Eales talks about her new role as Pupil Welfare Assistant to support pupils with their wellbeing. Jaz Wright, Lily Ironmonger and Katya Demchenko reflect on anti-bullying in their role as Peer Mentors. They discuss the importance of reaching out and who pupils can talk to. The newsletter also highlights wellbeing activities that have been happening in boarding houses, the new wellbeing books that are now available, the Nelson wellness room and odd socks day!
