🏏🎉 What an incredible season for the girls’ U15A cricket squad! 🌟
With wins against local rivals Ipswich School, St Joseph’s College and Woodbridge School, our team has shown exceptional skill and determination. Many of our players have also earned call-ups for the 1st XI and 2nd XI squads. 💪🏆
We made history by reaching the Final of the U15 County Cup Competition for the first time since the introduction of girls’ cricket at RHS. After Saint Felix forfeited the first round, our girls faced Ipswich School in the semi-final. A stellar 90-run partnership between Elise L (42) and Bea N (24) led us to 128-6 in 20 overs. Skye F was sensational with 4-14, including a hattrick and sharp fielding sealed a thrilling 6-run victory! 🙌
In the final, RHS bowled brilliantly, restricting St Joseph’s to 117-4, with another standout performance from Skye F. Despite some fantastic batting by Connie G, we fell just short of the target, earning a runner-up spot. 🥈
Well done, girls! Your hard work and team spirit have made us all proud.
