RHS Music Scholar Sofiia has achieved excellent grades 9, 9, 8, 7, 7, 7, 6, 6, 5 in Art, Russian, Music, Combined Science, Mathematics, English Literature, Media Studies and English Language.
Sofiia joined RHS in the middle of Year 10 in 2024 and quickly immersed herself in school life, particularly within the creative and musical community.
During her time at RHS, she has achieved a number of notable successes. She had the privilege of performing at St. Paul’s Cathedral with the school chapel choir, as well as winning several local piano competitions. Sofiia has also performed at Notes and Nibbles, played as part of the school orchestra, and taken part in many other memorable musical experiences.
Her key interests at RHS revolve around the arts, where she especially enjoys participating in music and art masterclasses. She is also a committed member of both the chapel and chamber choirs, where her love for singing continues to flourish.
Looking ahead, Sofiia is excited to continue her studies in Music, Art, and Psychology at RHS. A particular highlight she anticipates is the opportunity to perform a piano concerto with the local orchestra in May.
For the future, Sofiia hopes to continue developing as a musician, sharing her passion for music in ways that inspire others and bring them joy.
Sofiia has added that “RHS has become an important part of my life, constantly bringing me joy and providing opportunities I never imagined I would have. I am truly grateful for all the experiences I’ve gained here and for the wonderful people I’ve met along the way.”
Congratulations, Sofiia!
