We are delighted to announce the appointment of Hannah Coulson as our new Director of Sport from September 2026, a significant appointment which will further strengthen and develop the outstanding sporting provision at RHS.
Hannah brings an exceptional international hockey background, alongside a strong track record in whole-school sport leadership. A former professional player and coach at elite level, she has competed in both the English and Australian Premier Leagues and represented a ‘Rest of the World’ side in Olympic warm-up fixtures. Her experience spans the full performance pathway, from grassroots participation through to national-level development.
Beyond hockey, Hannah has successfully led high-performing and inclusive programmes across netball and wider sport, consistently increasing participation whilst raising standards of achievement.
In her new role, Hannah will lead an ambitious and forward-thinking sports programme across hockey, netball, rugby, cricket, and the wider sporting offer. She will also play a key role in the continued development and growth of football as a major sport within our provision.
Hannah’s appointment reflects our commitment to excellence, inclusion, and the long-term development of sport for all pupils, from recreational participation through to competitive and elite pathways.
