We're delighted to announce that Mrs Katie Banks will be joining us at RHS, from the senior team at Bishop's Stortford College, as our new Deputy Head Academic! With a rich background in education, including roles at The Perse in Cambridge and Guildford High School, Katie brings a wealth of experience to our community.  

Katie studied Geography at Oxford and has held a variety of roles in her career, including spearheading a research programme at The Perse. In her current position as Head of Sixth Form, Katie established a Sixth Form Award, she leads the Oxbridge programme, and oversees College Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives. 

Beyond the classroom, Katie enjoys staying active with swimming, skiing and running. Recently, she's revisited her musical talents with a sponsored 'Grade-One-Athon' in singing, in aid of a primary school in Zimbabwe. 

Katie and her family are very much looking forward to becoming a part of our RHS community.
