Mersea Cadet Week

RHS sailors had a fantastic time and earned impressive results at the biggest cadet sailing regatta on the East coast. 

Mersea Cadet Week, a joint event run by Dabchicks Sailing Club and West Mersea Yacht Club, was well attended by RHS pupils and their families last week. It was a wonderful week with favourable weather and some great sailing and results. 

Charlotte A - 1st ILCA 4 and 2nd overall in fast fleet 
Sam G - 2nd ILCA 6 and 3rd overall in fast fleet 
Izzy B - 3rd ILCA 4 
James H - Most Helpful Cadet Award and 6th ILCA 6 
Poppy L - 5th ILCA 6 
Muiris C-T - 4th ILCA 6 
Sonny S/Joel S - 1st Feva, 1st overall in slow fleet, Tomato Trophy (most number of wins across all 6 fleets)  
Will G - 4th topper 
Freddie L - 14th topper

Well done to all our pupils, not only for your results but for your conduct and character throughout the week. A special mention to the parents as well, many of whom volunteered their time to help make such a fun, enjoyable and memorable event.
