🎉 RHS celebrates the Independent Schools Council’s Partnerships Week, emphasising the power of community collaborations 🎉
It is the Independent Schools Council’s Partnerships Week, and we want to celebrate the many dynamic collaborations that make our community thrive! 🤝
We recognise the impact of togetherness and the transformative opportunities it brings to our pupils and the local community.
Here are some of our recent partnerships that we want to celebrate:
🏆Community Engagement Through Sports
With a sprawling 200-acre campus, RHS is more than just a school— it’s a community hub. From hosting the Suffolk Schools’ Cross Country event, where 2000+ pupils from 25 schools competed on a course within our grounds, to proudly sponsoring the Ipswich RFC Junior Rugby Festival, we are always keen to back local initiatives.
🎨Remembrance Through Art and Community Connection
In a nod to remembrance and community connection, RHS unveiled 'Bloodlines,' an art project weaving personal stories of military service with contributions from three local primary schools and three care homes. BBC Look East were there to capture the magic, showcasing how art can bridge communities.
🌋Literary Festival Promotes Education and Collaboration
RHS's inaugural Literary Festival welcomed Year 5 pupils from local schools for workshops and activities. With a focus on Japanese culture, the event enabled resources to be shared with the local community and aimed to inspire a love for literature.
🌍Cultural Collaborations
We also love to extend our community engagement to cultural and artistic pursuits. Hosting a Languages Speaking Day, we welcomed 300 pupils from other schools, providing a platform to enhance language skills and foster cultural exchange.
We remain dedicated to our mission of navigating success for all members of our community and look forward to continuing these impactful partnerships for years to come.
Join the celebration! 🚀
