International Activities

One-term international pupils in Years 10 and 12 from France, Germany and Hong Kong participated in a plethora of activities this week, whilst their peers took end of year exams. The programme encapsulated both RHS and British life incorporating educational, cultural and sporting elements; some even ran in the school mini marathon!

Activities ranged from sailing at Alton Water, a scientific tower building challenge and culinary exploits to a trip to Britian’s oldest recorded town, Colchester. Throughout the week pupils made presentations with photos and information about their endeavours and how it differs from their home life. Most notably many had never sailed prior to this opportunity and aside from highlighting the typical cold British weather, they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Next week they join their contemporaries in regular school life.
