Houses create displays for LGBTQ+ History Month
Houses created colourful and creative displays to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month. Mr Martineau and Ms Hemmens visited each of the houses to see all of the artwork and to choose a winner.
Mr Martineau said, "It was lovely to see the time and effort that had been invested by the pupils and house staff. The variety was inspiring - from reflective mirrors to window painting, flag research and highlighting famous people. It was particularly pleasing to see one house where pupils themselves wanted to show us their work and explain the thought process behind it.
"Special mentions go to Collingwood and Hood for their innovation and creativity. We would like to award the winning title to Raleigh for the whole house involvement, subtle messaging and the permanent nature of the display."
