I joined RHS in Year 9, and from the very beginning, I felt like I was part of something special. Moving to a new school can feel overwhelming, but the kindness and warmth I experienced here made the transition much easier. The teachers and boarding staff were incredibly supportive, and the EAL lessons were a huge help in building my confidence with the language. These lessons have been amazing - not only improving my English but also helping me engage better with my studies and day-to-day life.
One of the things I’ve loved most about RHS is how easy it has been to make friends. Everyone here is so welcoming, and the sense of community really stands out. Living in the boarding house has been an unforgettable experience. It’s my favourite place on campus because it truly feels like home. It’s a space where I can relax, spend time with friends, and feel completely comfortable. The school also provides a great variety of activities and opportunities to explore your interests. While I’ve participated in many things during my time here, my favourite moments are still the everyday ones - laughing with friends, sharing meals, and creating memories that I’ll treasure forever. Speaking of meals, I absolutely love the food here, especially the carbonara! It’s the kind of comfort food that reminds me of home and always brightens my day.
RHS is unique because of the way it brings together students from all over the world into one close-knit family. The balance between academics, extracurriculars, and personal growth is something I really admire. The school encourages you to be the best version of yourself, both in and out of the classroom.
My time at RHS has shaped me in so many positive ways. I’ve grown not just academically, but also as a person, thanks to the incredible support and experiences I’ve had here. When I leave, the thing I will miss the most is the boarding house. It’s been my haven and the heart of so many special moments. I’ll also miss the friendships I’ve built and the sense of belonging that RHS offers. It’s a place I’ll always remember fondly, and I feel lucky to have been a part of it.
