The first Gig Night of 2023 kicked off in style on 17 March as Jake A opened the show with a performance of 'Stacy’s Mom', which got the crowd excited for the evening to come. All performers delivered their songs with confidence, and each ended with resounding applause and cheers from the audience.  

After a whole-cast rendition of 'Happy Birthday' in the interval, Izzy B brought us back with 'Heart of Glass'. The second half continued very strongly with a mix of Year 7s followed by Year 13s performing songs such as 'I Will Survive' and 'Back to Black' with a duet by Ollie W and Oli C, 'It’s All About You', to close. 

The evening was a great success, once again, as the impressive house band managed to learn a total of 29 songs to support all the acts, showcasing the talent across the school.
