Our Year 12 Geography pupils recently took their learning beyond the classroom with a fieldwork trip to Somerset. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to explore a range of geographical environments and investigate key themes studied as part of their course.
Throughout the trip, pupils collected data, carried out fieldwork investigations, and applied their classroom learning to real-world settings. They explored topics including coasts, regeneration, & place identity, gathering evidence to support their Non-Exam Assessment (NEA) research.
Alongside the academic work, there was also time to enjoy the outdoors, with activities helping to build teamwork and make the most of the stunning surroundings.
A huge thank you to our Year 12 geographers for their enthusiasm, focus, and positive attitude throughout the trip. It was fantastic to see them engaging so thoughtfully with their subject and making the most of this important fieldwork experience.
