Record-Breaking GCSE Results
We are delighted to be celebrating another year of exceptional academic success as our Year 11 pupils achieved the best GCSE results in the school’s history.
An impressive 57% of all grades were awarded at the very highest levels of 9–7, with 98% at grades 9–4. This marks the second consecutive year of record-breaking GCSE performance, reinforcing our sustained trajectory of academic excellence.
These GCSE results come just one week after our pupils secured the school’s best-ever A Level outcomes, with 46% of grades awarded at A*–A or equivalent. Together, these back-to-back achievements across both GCSE and A Level are truly remarkable and stand as a testament to the determination, ambition, and talent of our diverse RHS community.
Irfan Latif, Headmaster, comments: ‘I am truly delighted for our 2025 GCSE cohort and immensely proud of all they have achieved - both academically and through their wider contribution to life at RHS. Many have balanced their studies alongside our vibrant co-curricular opportunities, from sailing and music to sport, CCF, leadership positions, and more.
RHS is proud to be home to pupils from a wide range of backgrounds, and it is a genuine privilege to provide the opportunities and support that enable them to fulfil their potential. I am deeply grateful to my colleagues for their unwavering dedication, to our families for their encouragement and guidance, and above all to our pupils, who have thrown themselves wholeheartedly into every aspect of RHS life. They have achieved remarkable results while developing as confident, well-rounded young people.
The future is exceptionally bright for this cohort. We look forward to welcoming them back into the RHS Sixth Form in September, alongside new pupils from across UK and around the world, as they continue their RHS journey.’
Katie Banks, Deputy Head (Academic), comments: "Our pupils should be immensely proud of all they have achieved. Results Day marks the culmination of years of hard work, and at RHS we are delighted that this has once again translated into record-breaking outcomes. We are thrilled with all that has been accomplished both in and beyond the classroom, as pupils grow and develop their strengths, talents, and passions. I look forward to continuing to support, guide, and encourage our pupils as they progress through the RHS Sixth Form and take the next steps in shaping their futures."
These results reflect what makes RHS so special: the ability for pupils to combine academic ambition with personal growth, excelling both in the classroom and beyond through a broad and holistic curricular and co-curricular programme.
Congratulations to our incredible GCSE pupils. We are so proud of all that you have achieved and look forward to welcoming you back to the RHS Sixth Form in September!
