Emilio has achieved fantastic results: eight grade 8s in Mathematics, English Literature, English Language, Combined Science, History, Geography, Spanish, and grade 7 in Physical Education.
Since joining RHS in Year 7, Emilio has made significant contributions both on and off the field. He captains the U16 Rugby Sevens team, plays in the first rugby team, and has been recognised with the Norman York Prize. Emilio also plays an active role in the school community as a member of the Philanthropy Committee and as a peer mentor.
His key interests include Maths, rugby, football, Spanish - and raising money for charity, reflecting a well-rounded and service-oriented approach to school life.
In September, Emilio plans to become Head of House for Drake, take on the role of first team inside centre in rugby, join the RHS Chapel Choir, serve as a house mentor, and contribute further to the school committee.
Emilio’s ambitions for the future are bold and inspiring: he aims to study Business and Maths at the University of Miami, become fluent in Spanish, participate in a study exchange in South America, secure a football scholarship, and reach millionaire status by the age of 20!
Reflecting on his time at RHS, Emilio says: “My five-year journey at the Royal Hospital School has been an immensely formative experience, during which I have grown, both personally and intellectually, into the person I always aspired to be. Immersed in a dynamic and opportunity-rich environment, I fully embraced a wide range of co-curricular pursuits, with rugby playing a central role, each shaping my resilience, leadership, and self-discipline. The distinctive culture at RHS has not only strengthened my character but also instilled in me a deep sense of purpose, confidence, and aspiration that I will carry forward.”
Congratulations, Emilio - we look forward to seeing your future successes!
