Our Debating Team has successfully progressed to the second round of the ESU Schools' Mace, one of the oldest and largest debating competitions for secondary schools. On Tuesday, Chris S, Clara F and Lara C headed to CRGS and spoke excellently as opposition to the motion: 'This House Would ban dating and relationship-based reality TV'.

A special shoutout to Sam B and Luna J who were also part of the team and volunteered to make up two 'swing' teams for the two teams that did not show - they spoke fantastically well with little to no preparation time!

They are looking forward to the next round which will take place in January.
