At the start of the summer holiday, four enthusiastic climbers, Charles, Harry, Hugo and Ted, went on a climbing adventure around the Cornwall coast.
This was a climbing club trip for “Lead Climbers” who all managed to lead routes on the sea cliffs before the end of the 5-day expedition. Our climbers also took part in coasteering, mine explorations and stacked abseiling.
Pupils' comments:
“The highlight of the trip is tied between the caving and the final trad climb I did up the wall on the coast.”
“I really liked climbing on the different rocks and learning more in-depth about the placement and equipment. The coasteering and mine exploration was really fun.”
“I learnt so much from this trip and had great fun experiencing outdoor climbing. It was brilliant to learn how trad gear worked and how to use it.”
“An amazing experience which is impossible to forget.”
