Chris has achieved an excellent set of GCSE results, including Grade 9s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Design Technology alongside Grade 8s in Chemistry and English Language. He also achieved Grade 7s in Biology and Further Mathematics, and Grade 6s in Business and English Literature.
Looking ahead, Chris plans to study A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. He hopes to study Computer Science at university and pursue a career involving computing, cybersecurity and technology.
Having joined RHS in Year 9, Chris has embraced a wide range of opportunities throughout his time at the school. Alongside achieving excellent academic results, he has represented the school in debating and public speaking, completed his Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, and taken part in UKMT and Bebras competitions. He has also enjoyed participating in school productions and Gig Nights, alongside his many music lessons.
Chris has also been passionate about supporting his peers, particularly in subjects such as Computing, helping fellow students improve their grades at short notice. His interests at RHS have included Computing, Mathematics, Physics, debating and music, as well as working in the DT workshop and taking part in a range of sports, including judo, kickboxing, sailing, rugby and cross-country.
Reflecting on his time at RHS, Chris says: "My time at RHS has allowed me to develop not only my grades, but also who I am and who I want to be. RHS has given me access to so many opportunities from Gig Nights, debating and sport to teachers willing to sit down with me for hours to help plan my future, and students willing to practise the same song for hours on end. Those are the things I will deeply miss; however, the person I have become because of them will remain with me for a lifetime."
