Armistice Day

Armistice Day

Today, on Armistice Day, we remember.

On Remembrance Sunday, our community gathered to honour those who have served in times of war and conflict. The day featured a Divisions Parade set against the backdrop of our historic grounds, alongside two chapel services to accommodate everyone in attendance.

We were honoured to welcome Captain Mark Hardwick, Royal Navy as inspecting officer as the parade marked the start of a two-minute silence at 11am, with the bugler sounding the Last Post.

The commemoration continued today, as the school paused once more for a two-minute silence, reflecting on the courage, sacrifice and dedication of all who have served.

It was heartwarming to see so many RHS families and alumni come together in remembrance.
