This week we’ve been shining a spotlight on apprenticeships and the many pathways available beyond school.
On Monday (9 February), we welcomed Sgt Greg Floyd from the RAF, who delivered an engaging talk and Q&A exploring careers in the Royal Air Force, routes into service, and the wide range of opportunities available. Yesterday (Thursday 12 February), alumna Siena Claridge (Raleigh, 2021) returned to RHS to share her journey as a Chartered Management Apprentice with Amazon. Siena spoke honestly about apprenticeships, how to stand out in applications, the variety of sectors offering programmes, and shared practical hints and tips for pupils considering this route.
Alongside our guest speakers, pupils have received daily RHS Futures newsletters packed with apprenticeship resources, webinars, opportunities and application advice, helping them explore their next steps with confidence.
