Amazing Week of Sports at RHS! 🏑🏉
Last Tuesday saw the girls' 1st XI hockey team compete in the England Hockey Tier 4 Suffolk County Round, showcasing their talent and determination. After two impressive wins in the group stage against Woodbridge School and Culford School, they advanced to a nail-biting semi-final against Ipswich School. The match ended goalless and, in an intense shuffle competition, the girls triumphed, securing their spot in the final! 💪🏼
With this victory, the team will be one of two from the East, advancing to the Tier 3 regional finals later this term.
On Thursday, the U14 girls followed up with an incredible performance, earning their place in the Tier 2 regional round as county runners-up, after beating Ipswich High School, Culford School and Finborough School. (Photo from Monday's training session, without the full team).
The U15 boys also delivered a fantastic result, winning their National Cup rugby fixture against Colchester Royal Grammar School 40-31! RHS controlled the game from the outset, scoring two tries in the first three minutes, and maintaining a healthy lead throughout.
With the senior boys’ football team beating Woodbridge and many other teams gaining victories across the sports, there has been much to celebrate.
