Our Year 10 and Year 11 pupils had the opportunity to explore the growing impact of artificial intelligence on their daily lives.
Through a series of short activities led by key members of RHS staff, pupils explored how AI can support their learning in and out of the classroom and how it can be used to create helpful revision resources ahead of their upcoming examinations. They also considered how AI may shape the future of work and discussed some of the potential risks associated with the darker sides of AI.
Throughout the morning, we emphasised the power of AI when used responsibly, making clear what acceptable use of AI looks like at RHS while highlighting the importance of pupils developing AI awareness and skills as they prepare for the modern workplace.
Over the coming weeks, pupils will also have the opportunity to attend optional follow-up sessions designed to further develop their skills, confidence and understanding of AI.
