A Fitting Tribute

A Fitting Tribute

Sister Anita Martin sadly passed away from a short illness in March this year. She was a much loved and key member of the Health Centre staff, having worked at RHS for over 20 years. She looked after both pupils and staff and was known by the wider community as being someone who was calm and caring.

When she wasn’t in the Health Centre working, she was often seen walking around the school or on the sea wall with her three dogs, Luna, Beloo and Fleur. It seemed fitting that a memorial bench in her name was placed there for others to enjoy the wonderful views all year around, just like Anita did.

Earlier this week, Bonnie and Trevor from the school’s Estates Department installed the bench which was paid for by Anita’s family – a wonderful tribute to someone who was such a valued member of the school community and a lovely place for her family to continue to visit.
