Excellent conditions in Hochfugen for the annual RHS ski trip

On Friday 25 March 44 pupils and five staff travelled to Hochfugen in the Ziller Valley, Austria for the annual RHS ski trip.

The resort is very high with the hotel at 1500m and the ski slope at 2500m, ensuring it has good late snow conditions and the weather throughout the week was excellent.

The pupils all made good progress in their individual skills, and tackled a wide range of the 78km pistes available to them.

Evening activities included bowling, a pizza evening, night skiing, tobogganing and the very popular spa pool at Fugen with its slides, wave machines, sauna, outdoor salt water and Jacuzzi pools.

Next year’s trip is to Sestriere in Italy.
