Medals for the Ski Team at the ERSA School Championship Event

Congratulations to the 18 pupils who took part in the ERSA Schools Championship Event at the Norfolk Snowsports Club on Sunday 30 April 2017. The RHS Ski Team performed with great spirit and determination in a strong field of over 200 competitors from 46 schools.

Some highlights of the day included gold medals for the U14 Mixed Team, featuring Emily K, Mia M, Oli C and Amelia V. Following some great skiing from his teammates, Oli C held his nerve and put in a steady performance on his crucial final run, securing their hold on the lead.

Not to be outdone the U16 Mixed Team of Alex J, Ben J, Huw W and Sophie P skied well and took on board advice, ensuring they finished in the bronze medal position.

Our U19 Boys Team of Francois R, Tom H and Dan F were surprised and delighted to earn silver following some eventful and, at times, nail biting racing!

Giles B, Max W-S, Will P, Lara G, Alistair N, Nicolas R and Lucinda H should also be congratulated on some creditable performances, showing a marked improvement on their individual times over the two races.
