Maths Feast Challenge

RHS is winning team at regional Maths Feast Challenge

Four Year 10 Royal Hospital School pupils took part in the regional Maths Feast at Kesgrave School in Ipswich this week and brought home the winning title.

The competition, organised by the Further Mathematics Support Programme, tests mathematical, communication and teamwork skills and over 70 events are held across England in February and March.

The RHS team of Anson W, Cillian R, Thomas R and Boden S-M tested their skills against sixteen other East Anglian schools over five rounds. Their outstanding performance, including winning a round on Complex Number which is an A Level Further Maths topic, earned them the champion spot.

The Further Mathematics Support Program aims to stretch and inspire the most gifted mathematicians.
