A tight cross country competition at inter-house tournament
The final Thursday of the Lent term witnessed the annual interhouse cross country event at RHS. Blessed with fine conditions and a fast course, (and with words of encouragement from the Headmaster on the start line) the racing was very close and the support very vocal indeed! The results were as follows:

Winner was Noah B in 13.13, with Katie C in 2nd in 13.22
Inter girls was won by Bella K in 16:09
Inter boys winner was Conor R in 20.22, who set a new school record for the course.
Senior Girls winner was Maddie G in 16.51
Senior Boys winner was school cross country captain Rob C-C in 26.06
The team competitions were very tight, but the results were as follows:
Junior winners were Chichester
Inter girls won by Raleigh
Inter boys by Collingwood
Senior girls won by Hood
Senior boys (and there was only a single point between Hawke and St Vincent 66/65) Won by St Vincent.
This was a fantastic day of running and my sincere thanks to all the staff for their help and to the pupils for such high levels of participation and competition.
