Hockey Report

Despite both hockey teams being all wrapped up at school, there has been plenty of action still going on away from Holbrook in recent weeks.

Firstly, Rochelle G-S, Year 8, played for Sudbury in the U14 East of England regional finals. While the team did not progress, the Sudbury girls have proven themselves to be one of the top 8 teams in the whole of the East of England, one of the top 24 in the entire country

Louis C, Year 9, has represented Suffolk at U15 level this year and his Suffolk team were crowned Regional (Eastern Counties) champions last weekend. The team beat Norfolk in the semi-finals and Essex in the final where Louis scored an equaliser before the boys won on penalty flicks.

Finally, Ollie L, Xavy B, Sam C and Will C have all been selected for the East Anglia JRPC as part of the England Hockey programme following the county trials and inter East Anglia tournaments. This will keep the boys busy over the summer with lots of training and tournaments between June and September.
