European Day of Languages

Today was the annual European Day of Languages and to celebrate the Modern Foreign Languages Department launched some new initiatives around the School to get both pupils and staff involved in language learning.

Everyone was invited to enjoy a European-inspired menu in the Dining Hall and all were encouraged to try to speak a few words in a foreign language – from French to Klingon! There were competitions in the Library throughout the day and more events will follow over the next few days.
