Bury Tigers selection

Over the half term break, Yasmin G-L was selected for the U16 JRPC (Junior Regional Performance Centre) hockey team known as the Bury Tigers.

The JRPCs provide all those selected with six full day sessions culminating on the weekend of the 3 and 4 September when the youngsters will hope to be selected for the Tier One Competition which takes place over two weekends on Sunday 18 and 25 September. These two day competitions will see the Bury Tigers, the Northwood Tigers and the Tonbridge Tigers all compete for places in the tier two Saxon Tigers squad.

This is a great achievement for Yasmin, made even more special by the fact she was the only Year 9 girl selected at the U16 level. We wish her the best of luck for when training starts on Sunday 19 June.
