Studying A Level Biology will enable you to gain a greater understanding of the principles of life. The A Level course will focus on key principles that underpin all of biology.

| Are there specific entry requirements? | Grade 7 in GCSE Biology (or grade 7/7 in Combined Science). We also recommend at least a grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics. |

3 exams taken in the summer of Year 13. Your practical skills will also be assessed throughout the course. |
| Any particular subject combinations recommended | Chemistry or Mathematics if you want to study Biology at a top university. Geography or Psychology are other common choices. |
