The Royal Hospital School is an independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11-18 year olds, providing an outstanding, full and broad education enriched by a unique naval heritage and fit for the modern world. Founded in 1712 in Greenwich, London, it moved to its spectacular site, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour, in 1933. The School has continued to develop its spectacular purpose-built site and grow in size and reputation to become one of East Anglia's leading independent schools.

TASTE OF RHS event on 6 november

If you're considering RHS for your child for year 7 entry in September 2022 or year 9 entry in September 2024, this is the event for you [your child will be in Year 6 in September 2021].  Based at our Year 7 House, 'Blake',  you'll have a chance to look around and really get a feel for what life is like at RHS.  Meet our Headmaster, the Blake House team and take a school tour.  Your child can choose two taster sessions and will enjoy a delicious RHS lunch.  Taster sessions are chosen from Sport, Science, Art, DT, Music and Drama.

If your child is in a different year group, we recommend attending our Open Day.

RHS is a school that believes every young person has the individual potential to achieve the most exceptional things, whatever their path. Royal Hospital School immerses our pupils in an education filled with inspiration to unlock skills and pursue a purposeful life.

If you have any queries about our virtual open days or private visits, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our admissions team admissions@royalhospitalschool.org
