We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the distinguished Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2024, in the Independent Boarding School of the Year category. This recognition highlights the school’s commitment to excellence in education and providing a holistic and enriching boarding experience. 

Our incredible Director of Music, Mr Allen, has been recognised with a Silver Award for Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School in the Pearson National Teaching Awards. Selected from thousands of nominees, the win highlights the remarkable impact Mr Allen has had on shaping the lives of young people while teaching music at RHS. 🎵🌟 

We are delighted to announce that our History and Politics Department has been awarded a gold Quality Mark from the Historical Association, becoming only the third secondary school in East Anglia to do so and the first in Suffolk.  

We fully support the positive wellbeing of all our pupils and in addition to the school gaining the prestigious Wellbeing Being Award for Schools earlier this year, we were delighted to have also been awarded the Wellbeing Pioneer Badge and the National Whole School Wellbeing Silver Award.
