We are a leading co-educational boarding and day school for 11 to 18-year-olds just an hour from London and set within 200 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside. Open Morning Programme

  • 08:45 - 09:30 Register, enjoy breakfast in the impressive Dining Hall and meet your tour guide. 

  • 9:00 -11:15 Explore our wonderful site, discover activities, competitions, experiments, games and displays by academic and co-curricular departments and meet staff and pupils throughout the morning. Tours of the school include visits to the boarding houses and a Sixth Form Clinic in the library. 

  • 11:00-11:30 Refreshments in the Music School. 

  • 11:30 Headmaster's Question Time and presentation in the Burns Recital Hall. 

  • 12:15 An opportunity to speak with staff and find out about admissions, fees and other forms of support in the Jellicoe Room. 

  • 13:00 Departures.

For a taste of school life, come and see first-hand the variety of academic and co-curricular opportunities available. A visit to our boarding houses highlights our emphasis on pastoral care. 

Open Mornings include a tour of the School with a current pupil, a presentation by the Headmaster and a chance to meet various members of staff, are an excellent opportunity to do this in the first instance. The next ones will be held in the Michaelmas term.
