Registration Fee: A fee of £75 is payable on registration and is non-refundable.

Acceptance Deposit: An Acceptance Deposit of £1,750 (boarding pupils) or £1,000 (day pupils) is payable when parents accept the offer of a place. The deposit is repaid by means of a credit without interest to the final invoice when leaving the School. Until credited, the deposit will form part of the general funds of the School.

Additional Deposit: For reasons of administration, an Additional Deposit of £2,000 is payable in addition to the Acceptance Deposit by parents of pupils whose normal residence is outside of the United Kingdom. Subject to full compliance with these Terms and Conditions, the Additional Deposit will be credited to the parents’ account when the pupil leaves the School.

Additionally, boarding fees include:

  • Breakfast, evening meals and Sunday lunch
  • Overnight accommodation
  • 24-hour care by house staff
  • Laundry of bedding, uniform and casual clothes

SIBLING DISCOUNT

Families with two children in the School at the same time receive a 5% discount on the boarding or day fee for the eldest child. Those with three children in the School are eligible for 10% discount for the eldest and 5% discount on the second eldest child and those with four children will receive 25% discount on the eldest, 10% on the second eldest and 5% on the third eldest, when all are in the School at the same time. The sibling discount does not apply to fees discounted by a means-tested bursary, Continuity of Education Allowance and certain other discounts.

Fee Conditions

Please read for conditions and arrangements regarding weekly boarding, 3-night boarding and day pupils.

Read Fee Conditions

* Weekly boarders will be allocated a dedicated bed space in Blake, a senior boarding house or Nelson as appropriate. Weekly boarding includes overnight stays from Sunday to Friday inclusive. Pupils may leave after school commitments on Saturday afternoon and may return on Sunday evening or Monday morning. Weekly boarders may stay overnight on a Saturday up to 3 times per term, which will be charged on a per night basis. If it is likely that more Saturday night stays will be required, the full boarding option should be selected.

^ 3-Night Boarding is available in Blake, Cornwallis, Howe and Nelson, subject to space being available. 3-Night Boarding includes three regular overnight stays per week from Sunday to Friday. Overnight stays on a Saturday night may be available on request but subject to an additional charge of £50 per night and limited to 3 nights per term. 3-Night Boarders will be guaranteed three overnight stays per week but not a dedicated bed space.

**The day option is available in Blake, Drake, Raleigh and Nelson. Day pupils should arrive by 08:10 each morning and depart by 18:00. Day pupils may request to stay overnight on occasion subject to space being available but this is limited to 10 nights per term and no more than 3 Saturday nights per term at a cost of £50 per night. If it is likely that more than this number of overnight stays will be required each term, the 3-Night Boarding option should be selected.
