A Level geography
Geography is a superb and broad academic subject in its own right, providing a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the world today and in the future. Many world issues depend on detailed geographical analysis and it is useful in many walks of life.

| Do I need to have studied the subject at GCSE? | Ideally but not essential. |
| Are there specific entry requirements? | A minimum of a grade 6 at GCSE but not essential. Taking A Level Geography requires attendance on compulsory fieldwork trips, including a week-long trip to Somerset and Devon in Year 12, at the end of the May half term, which carries an associated cost. |
