The Royal Hospital School is located on the B1080 between the villages of Stutton and Holbrook.

From the A14 take the exit signposted A137 towards Ipswich. At the roundabout you will see a sign to the Royal Hospital School which will direct you under the Orwell Bridge on the B1456 from which take a right on to the B1080 through the village of Holbrook and onwards to the School.

From the A12 take the exit for the B1070 towards East Bergholt and continue towards Manningtree where a sign to the Royal Hospital School will direct you from the roundabout on the A137 towards Ipswich. From the A137 turn right towards Stutton, passing through the village and onwards to the School.

Parking
Day to day visitors' parking is directly outside the Main Reception of the School. Please let us know in advance if you require a reserved parking space. If you are visiting for a particular event, specific event parking signage will direct you to the available parking on the day.

The nearest main-line train stations from London and Norwich are at Ipswich and Manningtree. Taxis are normally available from Ipswich but will need to be pre-booked from Manningtree.

The number 92 can be taken directly to a bus stop outside the School. The number 98/202 only stops locally in Holbrook by the old Compasses Inn.
