Senior School Curriculum
The school offers an exciting choice of subjects at GCSE and the range on offer is continually under review.
Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils take English language and literature, mathematics, modern foreign language (French, German or Spanish) physics, chemistry, biology (either as the three separate sciences or as the "dual award" Co-ordinated Science) as the core subjects. In addition three option subjects may be chosen from blocks comprising history, geography, Latin, sports studies, media studies, religious studies, art, music, technology and business studies.
The option blocks are restructured each year to accommodate pupils' preferences as far as possible.
