Visit to Gifford Reade Birthplace July 2012

On Monday 2nd July 2012 a group of 80 RHS students and teachers will depart for a Band and Cultural Tour to South Africa.  This Tercentenary Tour will involve concerts performed at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria, attendance at the Kwazulu Natal Military Tattoo, performance in the Knysna Oyster Festival and a unique concert held at Robben Island on nelson Mandela Day.  The Tour ends in Cape Town, the birthplace of our great benefactor, Gifford Sherman Reade and the group will honour him with a special ceremony.
