Airport Transfers

Where possible we will assist with the arranging of transfers to airports but ONLY if details are provided using the booking form at least 2 weeks prior to travel.

The cost of these transfers will be added to the termly bill and where possible, we will arrange for pupils to share taxis in order to keep the cost to a minimum. If a number of pupils are going to the same airport and terminal to meet flights departing at similar times, we will arrange for a coach transfer.

Unaccompanied Minors

It is parent’s responsibility to check the airlines Unaccompanied Minor policy and inform us as to whether an adult need to check the pupil in on arrival and departure. This service can be arranged with the taxi or coach drivers but will incur an additional cost.

It is very important that all contact details during the period of travel including mobile telephone numbers, are provided for both parents and the pupil. These will be given to the driver of the taxi or coach in advance.

On receipt of a fully completed Flight Notification Details form within 2 weeks of the departure time, parents will be provided with a confirmation of the transfer details, a contact number of the driver and an emergency contact number for the School. On arrival at the airport the driver of the taxi or coach will be waiting at Arrivals clearly displaying a sign saying “Royal Hospital School”.
