Overseas Pupils
Our admission procedure is centralised and applications from overseas pupils should be made to the Admissions Office in the normal way. Pupils are required to take our English as a Foreign Language (EFL) test and an age-specific mathematics test, which may be taken in their home country, subject to prior arrangement.
To give an indication of the level of English required:
Years 7-8 (11-13 years) PET grade C or above Year 10 (GCSEs) FCE grade C or above Year 12 (A Levels) IELTS 6.5 or above
Sailing Academy
Our unique seafaring heritage and outstanding water-sports facilities mean that all pupils have the opportunity to learn to sail and more experienced sailors can sail up to five times a week.
